Welcome to my blog!

I thought a good way to open my blog would be to get right down to the real question:

Who am I and why bother reading this?

Professionally speaking, I am a PhD student in clinical psychology at McGill University in Montreal. But how much does it really matter what my education is or where I am getting it from? The things I want to talk about in this blog go beyond that. The reason for my blog is to get beyond the smoke and mirrors of our lives — education, work, finances, even relationships — the things that we use to define ourselves when someone asks us about ourselves. When you take away the distractions, can you really rely on any of these things to recognize who you are? Or are they just the finger pointing to the moon? Most of the in-depth education I have had in my life has been from my own meditation practice and psychotherapeutic work. A pandora’s box opened up and led to witnessing the magic that is this world, if we can stop believing it’s only about us.

Join me in this blog and let's discover it together.
